When talking to sellers, the question that I receive the most is whether to stage the home.   Staging a home can seem very expensive, but the benefits of staging a home generally far outweigh the initial outlay of money. What advantages can staging a home bring?

• Buyers find your home most often through websites. Having beautiful photographs of your staged home will be critical in getting the most potential buyers to come to the open houses.
• Staged homes often sell for a higher selling price. Even 1% over asking price will often more than cover the staging costs.  Keep in mind that homes in SF often sell for far more than 1% over asking.
• Presenting your house in the best possible way will help the buyer envision themselves in the home.
