Dog Friendly Restaurants and Bars in West County & SF

Reese was one spoiled dog.  She accompanied me in many excursions around SF, and always traveled with us to Sonoma's West County.  Here's a few of my favorite places to stop and have a nibble and sip with the pup.

Sonoma's West County

Petaluma

The Secret Kitchen (4701 Bodega Ave): A variety of tasty things from around the world, such as banh mi sandwiches, tacos, and Thai rice bowls, with all covered outdoor seating.

Valley Ford

Estero Cafe (14450 Highway 1): Classic American food from locally sourced ingredients. Outdoor seating in front.

Rocker Oysterfeller's (14415 Highway 1). Food with a southern flair, plus a nice bar program. Enclosed patio in the back.

Bodega Bay

Fisherman's Cove (1850 Bay Flat Rd): Stop off for oysters and a beer; I also love their crab sandwich. Outdoor seating in front.

Fishetarian (599 Highway 1): A fish market that serves some great fish & chips, and in my mind the best clam chowder in town. Outdoor seating in front.

Sebastopol

HopMonk Tavern (230 Petaluma Ave): Nice brewpub with live music. Enclosed patio in back.

Peter Lowell's (7385 Healdsburg Ave): Organic eatery that specializes in local, sustainably-produced ingredients. Very vegetarian friendly. Outdoor seating in front.

Occidental

Hazel (3782 Bohemian Hwy): Two wood-fired ovens fuel a rustic, Mediterranean-inspired menu. Excellent pizzas. Outdoor seating in side patio area.

Howard Station Cafe (3611 Bohemian Hwy): A perfect breakfast and lunch stop. Patio seating.

San Francisco

All Good Pizza (1605 Jerrold Ave, Bayview): Delectable Neapolitan-style pizzas. All outdoor seating, some covered.

Holy Water (309 Cortland Ave, Bernal Heights): A great place to fill your belly with great cocktails while rubbing bellies. Check out their 11th hour happy hour.

Le Zinc (4063 24th St, Noe Valley): Classic bistro fare; try the brik at brunch. Outdoor seating in back patio; pets must enter through back door.

Mission Rock (817 Terry Francois Blvd, Mission Bay): Oysters and seafood-focused menu with great bay views! Outdoor seating on upstairs patio.

Pizzeria Delfina (3621 18th Street, Mission Dolores): Grab a pie before hitting Dolores Park. Outdoor seating in front.

Virgil's Sea Room (3152 Mission St, Bernal Heights): Nice cocktail program and outdoor patio.

Zuni (1658 Market St, Hayes Valley): Roasted chicken for two (you and your pooch, of course), Outdoor seating on Market Street.
