SOLD! Updated Bernal Heights Victorian

For years, our clients had the goal to bring their family of four back to San Francisco after a decade in the Midwest. Once their kids were admitted to their first-choice middle and high schools in the city—a huge win!—the wheels were officially in motion. While they prepared their existing home for sale and transitioned back to the Bay, we got to work on the fun part, finding their San Francisco home. We cast a wide net, both geographically and by property type, touring everything from Ingleside to the Richmond to Alamo Square. We considered condos, single-family homes and even multi-unit buildings. In a tight market, keeping an open mind can make all the difference.

After one near-miss, the right house appeared: a charming Victorian in Bernal Heights with a beautiful facade, views, a finished attic and bonus space galore. Most importantly, it offered the family more room than they had originally imagined, plus a generous yard for their dog Cooper. We put together a squeaky-clean, strong pre-emptive offer, and it was accepted. 

After years of talking about coming home, they're finally back in the city, ready to explore their new neighborhood and settle into the next chapter.
